ABOUT US

The Franklin County Volleyball Fellowship is an adult Christian Church League that plays January - March in and around Franklin County Pennsylvania.

We Believe:

• The Bible is inspired of God and is absolutely infallible and inerrant, and is the supreme and final authority in faith and life.In one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.• In the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ...that He is true God and true man. That man has a sin nature, because of Adam's sin, but also receives a new nature from God when the individual is born again. We do not believe in the eradication of the old nature. • In the vicarious blood atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ for our sins. • The work of the Holy Spirit includes permanent indwelling of the body of every believer at the moment of his new birth and He at the same time baptises that believer into the body of Christ. • In the literal, bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. • The return of our Lord Jesus Christ will be personal, visible, and pre-millennial for His own rapture. • Men are justified by grace on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. • All truly born again believers are eternally saved in Christ.

We Do Not Practice or Promote These Contemporary Issues:

• NEO-orthodoxy- a subtle form of liberalism involving an alteration of the terms of the faith, without strict adherence to the truth of the God-inspired text. • Ecumenism or the Ecumenical Movement. There is already an organic union amoung true believers and, therefore, we oppose any "dialogue" which may tend in a general way to unification with such bodies as the National Council of Churches, the World Council of Churches, or the Roman Catholic Church. We propose, under God, to stand true to the purity of the Scripture, the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the traditional Christian faith as outlined in the New Testament. • The Tongues Movement. We are not sympathetic toward the present day tongues movement, believing its divisive tendancies and trends are contrary to God's Word. • The Healing Movement. While believing that God does heal and answers the prayers of faith, according to His will, our position precludes any cooperation in healing campaigns or with the popularly designated "faith healers". • Neo-Evangelicalism, which further blurs the the distingtion between fundamentalism and liberalism, resulting in an unscriptural and an :unequal yoke". We do not believe there can be a scriptural mixing of the true evangelical with the liberal element in the evangelization efforts today.
